My first setting of The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, aged 14.
I have recently finished a completely new setting, for baritone, youth chorus, symphony orchestra and youth ensemble, due to be performed in Switzerland in 2011.
A string trio from my crazy avant-garde period at college. It took me a few years to work out that this wasn't my natural style at all! Note the silly quarter-tones.....not to mention the barlines which don't coincide between parts....
